研究方向

大气化学与物理。曾经从事过的研究方向包括大气新粒子的生成与成长、大气均相化学、大气非均相化学及气溶胶化学等。目前主要研究(1)大气成核与新粒子生成,主要包括我国城市大气环境下大气新粒子形成与生长的机制,相应的关键气态前体物和纳米颗粒物的化学物种的识别等;(2)二次有机气溶胶示踪物的分析与形成机制,主要通过新型质谱手段开展由非均相反应、液相反应等途径而生成的二次有机气溶胶组分的识别与定量化,以及反应机制与反应通道的研究;(3)挥发性有机化合物的大气氧化机制研究,以及关键氧化产物的识别。


学术成就

王琳教授入选上海市浦江学者计划,获得中国自然科学基金委“优秀青年科学基金”资助,入选环保部首批“国家环境保护专业技术青年拔尖人才”。 王琳教授获英国皇家协会和英国医学科学院“牛顿高级学者基金”资助,兼任美国气象协会大气化学专业委员会委员(2012-2015),陆地生态系统-大气过程综合研究(iLEAPS)中国委员会委员,中国-澳大利亚空气质量科学与管理研究中心执委会委员。于2003和2004年2次获得美国加州大学系统毒害品研究与教学计划(UC TSR&TP)的博士生奖(Pre-doctoral Award),并于2006年获得UC TSR&TP成立22年后的首次最佳论文奖(Best Publication Award)。多次在国际会议(如美国地球物理协会年会、美国气象协会年会、中欧环境与健康会议等)上担任大会组委会委员或者会议分会场主席,并多次在国际会议及国外大学研究所(如美国化学会年会、美国气溶胶研究协会年会、芬兰赫尔辛基大学等)做邀请报告。

        王琳教授在国际高水平刊物Science, Chemical Reviews, Nature Geoscience, PNAS, Environ. Sci. Technol., Atmos. Chem. Phys., J. Geophys. Res.- Atmos.等发表论文60余篇。他发现并证实了我国典型城市大气中H2SO4-Dimethylamine-H2O三元成核形成纳米颗粒物的化学机制;并在国际上首次实验室内证实有机物与H2SO4的非均相反应是大气新粒子增长的重要机制。
